Brian D. Gross is a partner in the firm who concentrates his practice on complex product liability matters, toxic tort and environmental litigation, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, business and commercial disputes, and intellectual property actions. As National Counsel for a manufacturing company, Mr. Gross is responsible for the defense of cases throughout the United States. He coordinates a network of local counsel and litigates cases in courtrooms across the country. In addition, he is a member of several corporate defendants' national trial teams, and has experience trying cases throughout the United States. Mr. Gross also has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution, expert witness development, and litigation management.
Mr. Gross has co-authored the following articles: Toxic Tort Case Management, Toxic Torts 11, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (1999); The Death of Federal Mass Tort Class Actions, 1 IADC Class Actions and Multi-Party Litigation Committee Newsletters 1 (1997); Emerging Toxic Torts: Latex Glove Litigation, 106 Products Liability Advisory 12 (1997); and Crashing into Court: Litigation Facing the In-Line Skate Industry, Safety in Ice Hockey: Third Volume, ASTM STP 1341, American Society of Tests & Measures (1997). In addition, Mr. Gross has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences and continuing legal education events.
Mr. Gross is admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the States of Rhode Island and New Hampshire. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Gross has achieved an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory, the highest peer rating available for legal ability and ethical standards.
Mr. Gross received a B.S. in Business and Finance from the University of Maryland in 1991 and a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 1997, where he served as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Practice Course.
