Jennifer B. Furey |
Jennifer B. Furey is a partner in the firm who concentrates her practice in employment law, business litigation and family law. Jennifer also has extensive experience litigating non-compete cases and trade secret cases as well as shareholder disputes.
Prior to joining Cooley Manion Jones, Jennifer practiced with the national law firms of Howrey & Simon and Hogan & Hartson in Washington, D.C. Jennifer received a B.A., summa cum laude, from Providence College in 1993. She was awarded a J.D., cum laude, in 1996 from Boston College Law School. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, Jennifer was named a "Rising Star" by Boston Magazine.
Jennifer is the co-author of an article entitled Closing Arguments: What Can and Cannot Be Said, Massachusetts Law Review, Volume 81, No. 3 (September 1996), and serves as a legal correspondent for regional cable station CN8. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
