Peter J. Schneider is a trial lawyer and senior counsel at Cooley Manion Jones LLP. His practice involves the representation of clients with catastrophic personal injury claims resulting from constructionsite and workplace injuries, explosions,
fires, product defects and medical malpractice. He has served as lead counsel in complex multi-district federal court litigation, including extensive trial practice of business, corporate and securities related litigation, and has tried numerous cases in state and federal court. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the federal and state courts of Massachusetts,
Rhode Island and New Hampshire. His experience includes the trial of cases before state or federal courts in Massachusetts, California, New York, Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire.
Mr. Schneider received his undergraduate education at Harvard College and his law degree from Northeastern University, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial
Attorneys, and the American Association for Justice. He has been repeatedly selected as a Massachusetts “Super Lawyer” and a New England Super Lawyer and has achieved an “AV” rating by his peers, reflecting the highest level of legal ability and ethics.
He is a native of Cambridge, MA, is married, with three children, and resides in Needham, MA.
