Richard W. Paterniti

Richard W. Paterniti is a partner at Cooley Manion Jones LLP. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, general liability, employment and commercial litigation. Rich has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the country and has successfully obtained numerous multi-million dollar resolutions for injured clients.
Rich previously practiced at a national law firm where he represented clients in employment litigation. He is a graduate of Middlebury College (B.A., cum laude, 1993) and Boston College Law School (J.D. 1999) and has published several articles on various legal issues.
Rich is admitted to practice in all Massachusetts state and federal courts, all Rhode Island state and federal courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Rhode Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the Rhode Island Association for Justice.
Rich recently was selected as one of Massachusetts Rising Stars as was noted in the Super Lawyers edition of Boston Magazine.
Rich lives in Hingham, Massachusetts with his wife and two children, Ella and Olivia.
