Sara A. Stanley

Sara A. Stanley is an associate with Cooley Manion Jones LLP, where her practice focuses on complex business and commercial litigation. Prior to joining CMJ in 2008, Ms. Stanley was selected as a member of the Attorney General’s Honors Program and served as a judicial law clerk in the Department of Justice.

Ms. Stanley received her B.A., with honors, from Haverford College in 2002 and her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2007. At Suffolk, Ms. Stanley was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and a note editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. As a judicial law clerk, Ms. Stanley co-authored an article for DOJ publication regarding application of the exclusionary rule in immigration proceedings.

Ms. Stanley is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Boston Bar Association and Women’s Bar Association.

Originally from Vermont, Ms. Stanley and her husband, Joe, now live in Newburyport.
