Timothy C. Kelleher III |
Timothy C. Kelleher III is a partner at Cooley Manion Jones LLP and has been a trial lawyer with the firm since 1990. His practice focuses on civil litigation including general liability, product liability, construction site litigation, medical malpractice, civil rights litigation, and commercial litigation. His experience has included the successful trial, arbitration and mediation of a wide variety of cases.
The Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory has awarded Mr. Kelleher an AV Rating, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards. The rating is based upon an extensive and confidential peer review by members of the bar.
He has been featured in the Massachusetts and New England Super Lawyers and recognized in Boston magazine. He has been selected as being among the top 5% of practicing attorneys in an extensive peer review and evaluation process.
Mr. Kelleher was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2011 publication Best Lawyers in America in the category of personal injury litigation.
Mr. Kelleher is admitted to practice in all Massachusetts Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Mr. Kelleher is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, its Board of Governors and its Executive Committee. He is the Chair of the MATA Legislation Committee. He has written testimony and testified before numerous committees at the State House on legislation which impacts the rights of consumers, injured victims and their families. He received the MATA President's Award in 2006 and 2008.
He is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Massachusetts Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Kelleher has participated in trial practice seminars; he has written and contributed to numerous articles in the area of civil litigation and trial practice.
Mr. Kelleher is a graduate of Boston College (B.A., cum laude, 1987) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 1990). While at Suffolk University Law School, he was a member of the Suffolk University National Trial Team, recipient of the Harold B. Goodwin, Jr. Best Trial Advocate Award, and a member of the Board of Editors of the Suffolk University Law Review.
He is a native of Brockton, Massachusetts and lives in Canton, Massachusetts with his wife and four children.
